United Airlines and Continental Airlines Sign New Distribution Agreement With Travelocity

CHICAGO and SOUTHLAKE, Texas, July 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — United Continental Holdings (NYSE: UAL) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiaries United Airlines and Continental Airlines signed a new multi-year agreement with Travelocitythat enables customers to continue to purchase tickets through Travelocity’s online booking sites, including Travelocity.com, Travelocity Business, Travelocity Partner Network and Travelocity.ca.

“We are committed to being accessible to travelers who choose to do business through high-quality and efficient sales outlets,” said Mark Bergsrud, United’s senior vice president of marketing. “This agreement with Travelocity ensures that our mutual customers will continue to have access to our fares and schedules.”
