The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) has added another international recognition to its roster of awards with the receipt of the Meeting Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) 2011’s ‘Best Use of Budget (Bronze)’ Award for its PlenaryOnCall offering.

“It is exciting and heartening to be recognised for our efforts and this award is a testament to the Centre’s continuing commitment towards introducing new and innovative product offerings to meet the business tourism industry’s and market’s evolving needs,” said Datuk Peter Brokenshire, General Manager, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Datuk Brokenshire added that this achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the entire team at the Centre. “Such recognition will motivate the team to continue pursuing excellence to strengthen our position as a premier convention centre that offers quality service, flexible space and world-class cuisine.”

Launched in 2002 by Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine, the Meeting Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) aims to raise the standard of marketing in the meetings and events industry and to recognise the marketers.
