Congrex Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Harrison, Director of Group Strategy & Performance to the ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter Committee, effective immediately

When asked about his new appointment to the Chapter Committee, Rob Harrison commented, “I look forward to serving on the Chapter Committee, and giving a voice and perspective from a Professional Conference Organiser. It is a privilege to work with a great group of professionals and to further the interests of our industry in the UK and Ireland”.

The UK and Ireland Chapter of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) is the network that not only enhances co-operation between members of the same profession in the Sectors; it also enables them to work together with members – regardless of their Sectors – in the same geographical areas. This element of the ICCA structure is based upon regional similarities in business matters such as marketing, market research and education. During recent years one aspect has dominated this regional co-operation, particularly at National and Local level: the concerted promotion of the region as an attractive destination for international meetings.
