EUROECHO and other Imaging Modalities, the annual meeting of the European Association of Echocardiography (EAE), a registered branch of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), was held in our fascinating capital, Budapest from 7-10 December 2011.Over the last few years, the congress has doubled in size and impact to become one of the largest and most important scientific meeting on non-invasive cardiovascular diagnosis anywhere in the world. More than 3000 specialists arrived from all over Europe for the conference.
The scientific meeting took place at pavilions G and F of HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center, that were installed according to the French organizers’ special requests providing place for 13 lecture halls. Several other rooms and conference services ensured the comfort of the participants for the successful organisation of the event.
