Cross-country skiing courses

This Saturday 14 January sees a special attraction for cross-country skiers in Davos – free courses for newcomers to this increasingly popular sport, as well as for advanced enthusiasts.

The Swisscom Nordic Days were launched 11 years ago and are taking place this winter at 16 resorts throughout the country (from December to February). In Davos this Saturday qualified instructors will teach beginners the basics of cross-country skiing, while experienced skiers can learn how to perfect their technique. The aim of the Swisscom Nordic Days is to further promote and popularize the sport in a country whose top cross-country skier, Dario Cologna, currently leads the World Cup standings. In Davos you don’t even have to have your own equipment for the taster courses – this can be rented on site at attractive prices.
