Bella Center’s Head of Bella Logistic Services, Henrik Dyhr, has been elected the new chairman of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Denmark Chapter, effective from 1 December 2011.
As the chairman of MPI Denmark Chapter, Henrik Dyhr will head the efforts to ensure ongoing professionalisation of the Danish meeting industry and serve as a spokesperson for the organisation’s members, which include suppliers of facilities and services, and meeting planners from the private and public sectors, associations and volunteer organisations.
“It’s an exciting challenge for me to represent an industry and I look forward to being involved in setting the political agenda and securing the best possible conditions for our members. The Danish meeting industry should and must gain more recognition for the professionalism of its work every single day, which benefits the overall economy. This will be an important part of our success in the face of increased international competition,” says Henrik Dyhr.
