The next European Facility Management Conference (EFMC) will take place in Prague from 22 to 24 May 2013.

The annual conference is expected to attract between 700 and 900 delegates and will be hosted together by Czech and Slovakian Facility Management organisations.

The venue has not been selected yet, however it is expected that the event will take place in one of the capital’s congress hotels.

Ron van der Weerdt, chairman of EuroFM, said: “We chose Prague as the venue for EFMC 2013 to build a bridge to Eastern Europe. Prague is a well-known, attractive city with considerable touristic value, and we have very active chapters of the International Facility Management Association and EuroFM there who know their way and are in touch with the local authorities supporting us.

“The Facility Management (FM) industry has advanced a lot in the Czech Republic, so Prague is a kind of gateway to the emerging FM markets in many Eastern European countries.”

Prague Convention Bureau assisted in acquisition of the conference to Prague.
