Lord’s Cricket Ground has signed up to the Hotel Bookings Agents Association (HBAA).

The internationally acclaimed “Home of Cricket” is one of the most iconic sporting venues in the world, and joins the HBAA, with the aim to market the Ground to the UK’s leading conference and event agents.

Boasting some of the most revered rooms in cricket, such as the iconic Long Room, Writing Room and Committee Dining Room, all located in the Grade II* listed Pavilion, the London-based venue has recently seen an increase in demand for corporate meetings and events, as organisations seek new and unusual venues for their conferences and events.

Chris Peacock, HBAA Chairman said: “We are thrilled that Lord’s has joined the association as it underlines our leading status. Collectively we will continue to develop policies and drive to attract other iconic venues to join the association.”

Nick Kenton, Meetings & Events Sales Manager at Lord’s Cricket Ground said: “As a world-class venue for conferences and events as well as being the ‘Home of Cricket’, it’s crucial that we are part of the organisation that drives standards and promotes innovation within our sector.  I am delighted that we have joined the HBAA.”
