The Zürich Festival is sponsored by various Zürich cultural institutions and takes place over a period of three weeks.
The program is compiled by the Opera House, the Schauspielhaus, the Tonhalle Orchestra Zürich and the Kunsthaus museum. The Museum Rietberg, the Theaterhaus Gessnerallee and the Theater Neumarkt and Rigiblick are also involved.
Furthermore, the festival regards itself as a platform for other organizations and institutions which enhance Zürich as a city of culture as well as the festival profile and program in a specific way
