Shanghai Malu Grapes Festival 2012, which opened at the eponymous park on July 8 and will last until October 7, has a raft of activities to entertain and pamper visitors.

The whole event has three themed sections focusing on vineyard farm experience, self-drive and business/culture/leisure.

Visitors can gorge themselves on the idyllic views of the vineyard and the sweet grapes and cycle or amble through the Malu Grape Art Village. The biggest incentives are the pristine rustic sceneries and the opportunities to be at one with nature.

The park features eight natural and cultural sites, including Leisure Grape Garden, Grape Garden on Water, Grape Science Garden, Vegetables Garden, Fruit Garden, Grape Corridor, Wine Fort, and Grape Pot. It was named a national agriculture tourism exemplary site in 2006 and was opened to the public in 2007.

Duration: July 8 – October 7, 2012
