Sydney International Art Series brings exclusive exhibitions to Australia

The third annual Sydney International Art Series will bring two exclusive Australian exhibitions to the city. The Art Gallery of NSW will host the first major exhibition of Francis Bacon’s work from 17 November 2012 to 24 Feburary 2013.

The exhibition will feature five decades of the revered figurative painter’s work, including more than 50 paintings as well as archival material from his studio, films and photographs. The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) will present the work of celebrated sculptor Anish Kapoor in a unique exhibition from 20 December 2012 to 1 April 2013.

The Sydney International Art Series will offer combined ticketing for the first time, with consumers receiving a 20 per cent discount to visit both exhibitions. For more information please contact Olivia De Koski – olivia.deskoski@dnsw.com.au
