TUI Hellas is pleased to announce the strengthening of its management team with the appointment of Mr. Michael Mavropoulos as its new Managing Director.
Mr. Mavropoulos brings to the role 20 years of experience in a multinational corporate environment, receiving his early management and leadership training with the Hilton Group. Latterly he has held a number of diverse international roles with UPS, including leadership positions such as Managing Director in Saudi Arabia, Business Development Director in Belgium and for the past six years served as Managing Director for Greece and Balkans, based in Greece. He holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Louisville/USA.
In his role as Managing Director, Mr. Mavropoulos will report to Mr. Josep-Antón Grases, Regional Managing Director for the Mediterranean, TUI Travel PLC, who has an in depth knowledge of the Greek travel market and has been performing his duties based in Athens in recent months.
