Busan International Advertising Festival (AD STARS 2012)

AD STARS began four years ago and has grown to become one of the biggest advertising festivals in Asia.

The success of the AD STARS can be found on the festival’s unique convergence of online and offline competitions where the advertisement submission for the competition is open 24 hours all year round to everyone. Anyone can freely watch entrants’ advertisements, score entrants’ advertisements, upload your ideas/insights, and promote yourself or your company on AD STARS website.

AD STARS also holds a competition called ‘Young Stars’ where college students can enter the competition to showcase their talents and creativity. It is the first ad festival in the world, designed only for the youth.

The conference under the theme of ‘Digital Humanism’ was held and the speaker for the keynote speech was Janathan Mildenhall, Vice President of Coca-Cola. The programs included various seminars (incl. master class), ad school, job fair, exhibition area for entrants’ ads, PR booths, ‘Young Stars’ competition, as well as opening/closing ceremonies and VIP parties. In 2012, total of 1,047 industry professionals and college students participated in the festival.
