Dusit International Expands Global Sales Offices

Bangkok, August 23, 2012 – Dusit International, a leading Asian hospitality group, has announced expansion plans to further boost its sales operations in key emerging markets in Asia Pacific and has consolidated the regional sales offices in Germany and the UK to form a larger European sales base headquartered in London.

Within the Global Sales office in Bangkok, Dusit International has created two key positions including the Director of Sales (Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States – CIS) and appointed a Korean senior sales manager to provide coverage for these key source markets.

In addition, Dusit International has appointed Hotel Representation Australia (HRA) as its regional sales representative for Australasia. Australia/New Zealand and Oceania combined are continuing to record strong growth with some 10% year on year increase in arrivals to Thailand in the first two quarters of 2012 and a 23% growth in arrivals to the Maldives over the same period.

In late 4Q/2012 Dusit International will open a regional sales office in Tokyo to provide stronger in-market coverage in Japan, which currently generates 11% of revenue for the group worldwide.

Lastly, Dusit International has expanded the China regional sales office with an additional Director of Sales appointed to oversee northern China, based in Shanghai, and the Hong Kong regional sales office will employ an additional Sales Manager to provide deeper coverage for southern China and Taiwan.
