Starting a Career in the Event Industry with VOK DAMS

On 1 August 2012, seven apprentices will start their professional careers at VOK DAMS. VOK DAMS has a long tradition of training its own young talents. All of the apprentices have come out on top of a selection process, as there are usually ca. 100 applicants per training position, for example, in event management.

This year, Sebastian Bilstein, Carina Dewald, Kira Pelz, and Nina Schwarm will start their vocational training as assistants in event management. Rebecca Buchholz and Claudia Hopgood will start their vocational training as media designers. Denis Janowitz will start his vocational training as an IT system integration engineer.

“For a company with such high quality standards as ours, training their own young talents is of particular importance,” says Colja M. Dams, CEO VOK DAMS. “The success in the past has proven us right. Many of our project managers also trained with us.”
