Paros Park at 11:30
Participating athletes will compete in the following races: 500m. swimming, 13km. cycling on asphalt and cement roads (cyclists can participate with street bikes) and 3km running on selected trails of the Paros Park footpaths.
The Paros Triathlon is open to everyone over 13 years of age – athletes can participate individually or in teams of 2-3 persons.
Competing categories are:
• Individual Boys, Individual Girls (13-18 years old)
• Individual Men, Individual Women (adults over 18)
• Mixed Gender Team Adolescents and Mixed Gender Team Adults.
The Triathlon race begins at 11:30am and athletes need to be at the starting area at the Paros Park by 10:15am.
* All race spectators need to arrive at the Park before the start time (11:30am) and anyone who will be driving in the area around Kolimbithres from 11:30am -13:30pm is kindly requested to exercise caution so that the cycling route remains safe for the athletes.
