Bay is example for the world

A major international conference exploring the potential of maritime heritage to boost economic development and regeneration will bring up to 300 delegates to Cardiff this autumn. The conference, organised by Professor Terry Stevens on behalf of Maritime Heritage Wales, will bring together professionals from around the world.
Prof. Stevens, who is visiting professor of tourism strategy at Cardiff Metropolitan University, said: “It is fitting that this conference is in Cardiff, itself a great example of where we have taken the lead. Now we are saying let’s share our experiences to inspire other communities.” The conference is at Cardiff City Hall on 18 and 19 October.
