The seventh season begins at the Palau de les Arts on 10 November with the opera Rigoletto, by the Italian maestro Giuseppe Verdi. Work by the Italian composer figures heavily in this season’s programme with I due Foscari being performed from 24 January and Otello from 1 June.

More operas by Italian composers are included in the programme with Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohème in December and Il barbiere di Siviglia by Gioachino Rossini in February and March. The operatic line-up is completed with Die Zauberflöte by the great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart starting on 6 April.
