About A-PHPBA: The Asian-Pacific Hepato-Pancreato-Billiary Association was founded with the aim of enabling Asian- Pacific HPB specialists to gather together so as to disseminate research findings and best treatment practices, as well as to advance HPB training and foster research and innovation by way of multidisciplinary collaborations. This regional association meets with the American AHPBA and the European EHPBA under the umbrella of the IHPBA.

Professor Krishnakumar Madhavan, chairman of the A-PHPBA 2015 organizing committee, and his committee selected Kenes MP Asia over other PCOs.  According to Professor Madhavan:

” Although many PCO’s competed to host the above Congress , the Organizing Committee chose Kenes over the rest [by a majority] as they seemed to have the track record of successfully organizing regional Asian meetings and their budget proposals were thought to be most realistic in addition to the pre financing offer that made the budget operations easy for the committee.”

Kenes Asia will be bringing a wealth of experience to A-PHPBA 2015, having previously organized the Asian Pacific Digestive Week (APDW 2012) and the World Congress of International Association of Surgeons and Gastroenterologists and Oncologists (IASGO 2012) – two events that were held in Bangkok, Thailand on the exact same days. In 2013 Kenes Asia will be organizing the 23rd Conference of the Asian Pacific Association of the Study of Liver (APASL 2013) in Singapore, with an expected attendance of 4,000 delegates.
