Gdansk Mayor Pawel Adamowicz and CEO of Gdansk Tourist Organization / Gdansk Convention Bureau Anna Gorska were nominated by Jury of MP Power Awards for active support to the event industry in Gdansk and region.
MP Power Awards, organized by the Internet portal meetingplanner.pl is Poland’s first competition dedicated solely to the event industry. Its aim is to distinguish the best events and projects related to event marketing, to point out places with great potential for events, as well as to honor the most influential persons of the MICE industry. The MP Power Awards competition is dedicated to event, incentive travel and marketing agencies as well as PCO, DMCs, convention bureaux, agencies specializing in organization of outdoor and team-building activities, catering and multimedia companies specializing in servicing the event sector, meeting planners and marketers responsible for event projects in corporations, institutions and associations. Event accompanying MP Power Awards contest is a competition event industry Creative of the Year and Young Creative event industry.
Mr. Pawel Adamowicz, the Mayor of Gdansk has been nominated in the MP Power 12 in the subcategory ‘OPEN’ in which the Jury selects the people whose actions over the past year have been the most visible and effective. It is for persons not directly related to events industry but actively supporting it. We are also proud that the CEO of Gdansk Tourist Organization / Gdansk Convention Bureau Anna Gorska was nominated in CVB category.
MP Power Jury Awards is composed of people representing the departments of marketing and corporate purchasing, event agencies, incentive travel, objects, media companies, journalists and representatives of associations.
