World Travel Awards – Final call for Indian Ocean votes

WORLD-TRAVEL-AWARDSWorld Travel Awards (WTA), ‘the Oscars of the travel industry’, is issuing a final call to those organisations in the Indian Ocean region to vote.

Established in 1993, WTA is recognised globally as the highest accolade in travel and tourism, and serves to recognise, acknowledge and reward excellence of customer service, product development and business performance throughout the tourism industry.

A stylish, exclusive and spectacular World Travel Awards Gala presentation Ceremony will take place on May 12th at the Paradise Island Resort & Spa in the glorious Maldives. Awards in over 50 categories will see top class Travel, Tourism and Hospitality companies compete for coveted Awards in the Region.

The 2013 nominees are published at www.worldtravelawards.com/nominees/2013/indian-ocean.

Votes can be cast at www.worldtravelawards.com/vote. Voting closes April 11th 2013.

WTA’s 2013 Grand Tour will include regional legs in the Maldives, Dubai (UAE), Antalya (Turkey), Kenya, Peru, Antigua and Singapore throughout the year. The winners of these regional heats will progress to the Grand Final, which will take place at the end of 2013.

The ceremonies are widely regarded as possibly the best networking opportunities in the travel industry, attended by government and industry leaders, luminaries, and international print and broadcast media.
