Feeling their love for SloveniaSlovenia shined on the worldwide meetings stage! The meeting providers from Slovenia recorded a record number of meetings with potential buyers at this year’s IMEX, worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events.

Walking through the large exhibition hall you couldn’t miss the large sign I FEEL SLOVENIA inviting you from afar to visit the green stands where representatives of Slovenian Convention Bureau and meeting providers from the destination shared their love for Slovenia with hosted buyers attending the exhibition. Inviting stands, Slovenian hospitality and the destinations potential to host meetings, events, congresses and incentives, this year persuaded a record number of hosted buyers to put Slovenia on their list of top destinations for meetings and events.

“It was my first experience attending IMEX Frankfurt and what a show it was! I was sent to gather as much information as possible on potential destinations for a new contract we recently won. A location suggested by our client was Ljubljana, Slovenia. I had the pleasure of getting to know the Slovenian team at the IMEX Challenge 2012 in Ljubljana, so I was delighted to get the opportunity to re-educate myself about the destination. It was no surprise that my first appointment at the show was with my Slovenian friends, Azra, Tatjana, Jan, Miha and the team.
