Thomas Pietzka has been appointed with immediate effect the Head of the Hotel Portfolio Management division of TUI AG. In this newly created position the 48-year-old financial expert will be responsible for controlling all the hotel subsidiaries of TUI Hotels & Resorts.
Pietzka will report directly to Sebastian Ebel, Chief Operating Officer at TUI AG.
Since 2007 Thomas Pietzka has been Head of Operations Support, Controlling & Development at TUI Hotels & Resorts. Previously Pietzka, who has a degree in business administration and has passed financial auditor and tax advisor exams, was the Financial Director at IFA Hotel & Touristik AG in Duisburg.
Before that Pietzka held the position of Financial Director as a member of the group management at the LTU Group, where he responsible for Finance and Performance Management.
