MCI proud to announce new generation leadership at Ovation Global DMC

mciGeneva, Switzerland, 9th July 2013 – Ovation Global DMC affirms growth plans and commitment to client services:

– We are proud to promote Aoife Delaney to Global Sales Director for Ovation Global DMC
– Karine Buggy as Global Operations Director for Ovation Global DMC to join MCI Global Operations leadership team
– MCI recognises the precious contribution of Padraic Gilligan and Patrick Delaney to global growth

“MCI started over 25 years ago as a destination management company in Geneva so DMC is a foundational, legacy competency within the company. MCI offers DMC services both stand-alone under the Ovation brand and as part of MCI’s unique end-to-end customer service offering”, said Roger Tondeur, President of MCI.

Following the sale of the Ovation Group Ireland to MCI in 2007 and the successful completion of a 5 year earn out, Ovation Group Ireland founders Patrick Delaney and Padraic Gilligan are set to leave Ovation Global DMC in Dec 2013, having served as Product Practice leaders for Destination Services at MCI. Their intentions are to remain within the meetings and events industry and work with clients globally in the areas of strategy, education and marketing.
