Navarino Challenge: The Huffington Post Media Group “joins the race” & other exciting updates

Dean Karnazes Navarino ChallengeIn the run-up for the first “Navarino Challenge” marathon led by the Greek-American ultramarathon man Dean Karnazes, the Huffington Post Media Group has “joined the race” as the US communication sponsor.

This unique event in the Peloponnese, on 18-20 October, aims to raise awareness of the benefits of the Mediterranean diet as well as the global issue of childhood obesity, under the Auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Rural Development and Food. 

Also, SPG® members will have the unique opportunity to bid through Moments by SPG® and transform their SPG points into a one-of-a-kind experience, by joining in this exciting weekend with the ultra-marathon runner and The North Face athlete Dean Karnazes at The Westin Resort Costa Navarino.
