Stephanie EllrottFollowing a detailed review of branding, the Royal Institute of British Architects at 66 Portland Place in London, is to unveil a new identity for its conference and events arm at the forthcoming EIBTM exhibition in Barcelona.
RIBA Venues, as the venue will now be known, will unveil a new logo and a new brochure for buyers attending EIBTM, where it is exhibiting for the first time as part of the London and Partners stand B35.

RIBA Venues’ Head of Venues, Stephanie Ellrott, says: “We recently doubled our capacity for conferences by introducing the Florence Hall as an area for refreshments and exhibition stands along with the tiered Jarvis auditorium which means we can now comfortably host up to 400 delegates.

“Now we are able to accommodate larger numbers we feel it is a good time to broaden our horizons and reach out to the international market, something we haven’t done before.”

RIBA Venues has also introduced a day delegate package (DDR) for events for up to 400 delegates at the venue. The RIBA DDR includes day hire of the Jarvis auditorium and the Florence Hall with its high ceilings and large windows opening onto a roof terrace. A personal event manager and the use of the auditorium’s audio-visual equipment supported by an AV technician are also included. The package offers full catering for the day (including Danish pastries, biscuits and homemade cookies) with a standing hot buffet lunch. The rate also includes access to RIBA seasonal exhibitions which provide a great talking point for delegates as they can appreciate displays of architecture design and craftsmanship from around the world.
