Zürich Airport is Number 1 in Europe

For the 10th consecutive year, Zurich Airport has won the renowned World Travel Award as the best airport in Europe. The evaluation was based on such criteria as customer satisfaction and the quality of the products and services.

In its category, Zurich Airport triumphed over seven other contenders: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Hamburg, London/Heathrow, Lisbon, Munich and Paris/Charles de Gaulle.

Since 1993, World Travel Awards has been acknowledging excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. The competition encompasses the whole world and is organized by the publishing company World Travel Awards Ltd. based in London. The winners are chosen by means of an online voting system, with individual votes being cast by both travel professionals and the general public.
