Todd Arthur, Vice President of Sales, BCD Travel Joins ACTE Board of Directors

Todd Arthur, Vice President of Sales & Account Management, Asia Pacific for BCD Travel was elected by members of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives’ (ACTE) Asia region to serve on the ACTE Board of Directors as the Asia Region Board Representative. Arthur’s Board appointment will be effective 1 January, 2014 through 2016.

“Since becoming a member in ACTE in 2010, Todd Arthur has been a very active volunteer – serving on an Asia Regional Conference planning committee and speaking at multiple ACTE events in the region” said ACTE President Kurt Knackstedt. His experience working collaboratively across the region and the industry will bring valuable perspectives to both the Board and the ACTE membership.”

Todd brings over 20 tears of travel industry experience to the ACTE Board, including nine years of regional Asia experience in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Malaysia. He has held the role of Vice President of Sales & Account Management, Asia Pacific with BCD Travel since 2007. Previously he was General Manager, Southern China for Finnair, splitting his time between China and New York. He also served as sales manager for Malaysia Airlines.

Reacting to his ACTE Board position, Arthur said, “I am excited to be joining the ACTE Board representing the fastest growing region. I have a passion to see ACTE continue to grow globally with a focus on the Asia Pacific region and to help reinforce ACTE’s position as the go-to resource for business travel education and networking”.
