ABTS Convention Services announces the addition of Anthony Prusak as Associate Vice President of Business Development

MIAMI, Florida (February 3, 2014) – ABTS Convention Services (ABTS), a global company specializing in supporting and increasing association’s international attendees worldwide, announced the appointment of Mr. Anthony “Tony” Prusak as Associate Vice President of Business Development in charge of leading ABTS’ growth into the Professional Congress Organizer arena through its new PCO Solutions division.

“We are very excited to welcome Tony at ABTS,” said Davide Veglia, President and founder of ABTS Convention Services. “With his 23 years of experience in the industry, we expect that Tony will open many doors for both international group housing and registration services for US based meetings as well as for international conventions through our PCO division.”

Prior to joining ABTS, Mr. Prusak was the Senior Director of Convention Sales of Cleveland Convention Center and served in a variety of Senior Director of Sales & Marketing roles with Merchandise Mart Properties Incorporated a division of Vornado Realty Trust, Prusak Marriott and Renaissance Hotels at resort properties and suburban hotels in Cleveland, Columbus, Buffalo, Worcester, MA and Yosemite, CA. In addition, he has national association sales experience in Washington D.C., with Positively Cleveland the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland.

Prusak also served as Vice President for Communications and Technology of the International Medical Meeting Professionals Association (IMMPA) based in St. Louis, Mo from 2010-2013 and on the Board of the PCMA POWER Chapter as the Student Chapter Liaison from 2011-2012.
