Finally, the time has come: The Tattoo, Art and Street Art Convention in Maastricht is about to kick off! The first southern edition of this leading event will start on March 29 at the MECC… The Tattoo, Art and Street Art Convention is an international event with famous national and international tattoo artists. Graffiti, street art and art are also a big part of the convention. There will be piercing, skateboard, clothing and jewelery stands present, as well as stands with rockabilly and tattoo related art.
At the event, a variety of shows will take place, like performances by singer and entertainer Ski King, Burlesque showgirl Xara von den Vielenregen (winner of the Milan Burlesque Award 2013) and Crazy White Sean with his Freakshow (which is not suitable for children!). There are also competitions and luscious Ink Model Felicia Frojd will be present at the convention. Creativity, innovation and recycled scrap are the key ingredients forming the art of Steampunk Art. Also, there will be several tattoo and body art related photo exhibitions. Barbershop ‘De Snorrensalon’ with its master barbers will take care of all your retro haircuts and old school shaves.
With the exception of a few shows, the convention is child friendly. The location is easily accessible for wheelchair users.
