Emirates’ A380 pulls in thousands at ILA Berlin 2014

Over 13,000 visitors toured the aircraft during the five days of the show
BERLIN/DUBAI, 26th May 2014: Emirates, a global connector of people and places, showcased its Airbus A380 aircraft from 20th May to 25th May 2014 at the 2014 ILA Berlin Air Show. The Emirates A380 was the largest aircraft and only A380 displayed this year at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport in Schönefeld.

Over 13,000 people – the equivalent of 25 full A380 flights – visited the aircraft over the course of five days at ILA Berlin. The line of visitors grew to over 155 meters as people waited for their turn to tour the aircraft. This was Emirates 48th A380, delivered directly from Airbus at Hamburg Finkenwerder to the show site, allowing ILA visitors to be among the first guests to get on the brand new double-decker and view Emirates’ award-winning onboard experience including the distinctive private suites and Shower Spas in First Class, the ever-popular A380 Onboard Lounge, and spacious cabins in Economy Class.
