Frankfurt – As attendees flooded the floor for the first day of IMEX in Frankfurt some went straight to the CIC Inspiration Centre to learn how they can adopt and foster more innovation in their own thinking and in their business strategies.
This packed session, led by Kevin White Chief Strategist and CEO of event management company XPL, explored the special ingredients that separate industry trend setters from followers.

These included consistently allowing opportunities for unstructured thinking and downtime, losing the fear of failure and gaining the freedom to share any and all ideas, and allowing time for ideas to develop and come to fruition. White also discussed the importance of reaching out across industry lines for fresh perspectives and to leverage existing approaches and technologies in new ways.

Most importantly, however, he urged participants to understand that “Innovation is a process more than anything and it’s about the dedication to doing it.”
