Professor Carroll first connected with BESydney when he was the President of the 18th World Congress of Neurology in Sydney in 2005, which attracted over 5,000 delegates.

He has been an active member of the WFN for 12 years and has spent 15 years of his life dedicated to raising the profile for multiple sclerosis (MS) research.

BESydney congratulates Professor Carroll on the highly-prestigious new role.
