Team Liverpool to Tell the Story of The Magic of Liverpool at The Meetings Show

TEAM LIVERPOOL’S enchanting theme for the Meetings Show UK will be The Magic of Liverpool, telling the story of the city’s past, present and future.

Following a storytelling theme, visitors to the destination’s stand will learn more about the next chapter in the city’s exciting story.

One of the cornerstones of the presentation will be Exhibition Centre Liverpool which will become the newest facility of its kind in the UK when it opens in 2015. The £66m centre will include a £26m integrated four-star 216 room Pullman hotel. Both will be interconnected to ACC Liverpool, which currently comprises BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, via a pedestrian link bridge.

The arrival of Exhibition Centre Liverpool will increase the existing 7,125 sqm at ACC Liverpool to 15,225 sqm of integrated and flexible event facilities. Meetings Show attendees will be the first to see how the new space will look, almost a year from opening, with a video fly through at the Team Liverpool stand showing for the first time.

On the stand, delegates will be able to talk to leading partners including exciting new development Rum Warehouse, the stunning Liverpool Cathedral and Hilton Liverpool in the heart of the city centre. Liverpool Football Club will be unveiling its plans to expand the conference offer at Anfield, one of the most famous sporting venues in the world.

There will be a joint presentation from Team Liverpool at 2pm on both Tuesday and Wednesday at stand E20, and delegates are urged to come along for an abbreviated tale of Liverpool’s rapid rise, and where the future lies.
