An exhibition on different aspects of the 425 years of Sant Roc Festivals in the Cathedral District of Barcelona.

A look back to 1519 when Barcelona proclaimed Sant Roc as the patron saint, to 1563 when the Consell de Cent voted it to be the saint of the city, and to 1589 when residents of the Cathedral district founded the Confraria de Sant Roch de la Plassa Nova and the festivals started to be held, passing through different celebrations held for four centuries and a half up until today.

These Sant Roc Festivals have been established as a tradition and festival heritage of the city of Barcelona.
