Prague Convention Bureau Attended Roadshow in USAPrague, 17th July 2014 – Prague Convention Bureau and CzechTourism concluded their first joint MICE & Leisure Roadshow in Western USA.

From July 7 to July 14 they held 4 networking culinary events and workshops for meeting, incentive and event planners, tour operators and travel agents in Los Angeles, Orange County, Scottsdale and San Francisco, and ASTA Arizona Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

CzechTourism and Prague Conveniton Bureau presented Czech Republic and Prague as ideal convention, incentive and tourist destinations. Each culinary event was attended by approximately 50 meeting planners and travel agents, who not only saw in the presentation and destination video what the “Heart of Europe” offers for both leisure travel and meetings, but also had opportunity to meet with suppliers who came all the way from the Czech Republic – Dorado Tours, DZK Travel, Hilton Prague, Hotel Yasmin, La Bohéme DMC & Incoming Tour Operator and Parkhotel Praha.

Attendees also tasted Czech food during the hosted reception; experienced wine tasting led by a Czech sommelier from Vino z Czech, and had a chance to win beautiful prizes including Becherovka, books about Prague and exciting stays in Prague.

Partners of the event were Arizona Culinary Institute, Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles, CzechInvest, Harvey Imports, Pilsner Urquell and Vino z Czech.
