– Maximising congress attendance: An increasing challenge for associations and scientific societies!

Attracting delegates to a conference or scientific meeting becomes more and more of a challenge for associations due to a variety of reasons. It is not only because of a steadily increasing number of competing conferences, but also due to the fact that professionals are entitled to take less days off for continuing education. On top of that, industry support is becoming more selective and in particular corporate compliance restrictions are affecting the ability to invite delegates to attend congresses.
