World leading hotel group Meliá Hotels International has received a huge acknowledgement from the European Hotel Industry when Meliá Hotels International CEO Gabriel Escarrer was named “CEO of The Year” and Meliá Vienna won “Opening of The Year (new build)” at The European Hospitality Awards 2014.
The award „Opening of The Year (new build)“ recognizes new projects that highlight innovative structural and interior design solutions in new build. Meliá Vienna, Meliá Hotels International’s first property in Austria, just opened this year in February. “Meliá Vienna has shown us a hotel’s potential to create a socially accepted epicenter of town within a new urban development.
