Darwin Convention Centre Appoints New Director Of Client ServicesThe Darwin Convention Centre (DCC) has announced the appointment of Pietro Delpechitra as the new Director of Client Services.

Pietro has a successful and extensive background, having delivered impressive results across event management, hospitality and food and beverages operations.

Most recently he was the Venue Services & Operations Manager of Auckland Live, the Regional Facilities Auckland (RFA) umbrella organisation, which includes Auckland Stadiums and Auckland Conventions and Events. Prior to this position he was the Food and Beverage Manager of Novotel & Ibis Rotorua, the largest Accor properties in New Zealand.

As part of the senior management team Pietro will be jointly responsible for contributing towards the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational targets and overall business aims.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Pietro’s experience in this role,” said Darwin Convention Manager Janet Hamilton. “His skills and background will be a significant asset in achieving strong performance outcomes from our existing operations as well as in the development of advanced processes and procedures moving forward.”
