ART OF FOOD Culture and Food DiversityThe 2nd Art of Food: Culture and Food Diversity will take place on 1-3 July 2015 in Barcelona. This edition will look at the challenges posed by widening market.

Against a backdrop of free trade agreements currently under-way between the US and EU, IGCAT experts will explore new initiatives being developed to support culture and food diversity.

Also on the agenda is the new subject of Gastrodiplomacy – ‘The act of winning hearts and minds through stomachs’ (Rockower, 2010). We will look at how national and local authorities are developing international relations through food and culture.
