In the days 11-13.08.2015 in Warsaw held a site inspection for European Microfinance Network representatives, who chose Warsaw as a destination for its annual conference in 2016. The previous EMN Annual Conference held in Dublin (2015), or in Lisbon (2014) and focused 250 delegates from all over Europe.

The program of the visit included a 5 * and 4 * Warsaw hotels visited as a conference place and venues (Warsaw University of Technology, Ufficio Primo, Kubicki Arcades, Fortress, Belvedere Restaurant) recommended for gala dinner.

Implementation a comprehensive site inspection was made possible thanks to the support of our partners: Warsaw Convention Bureau / Warsaw Tourism Organisation, Haxel, Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Centre, and Warsaw Marriott Hotel.

EMN has been active in supporting microenterprises and self-employment, through its Members, in lobbying activities at EU level and in raising awareness of the need to build European legislative and regulatory frameworks that foster a sound microfinance market. The creation of the European Microfinance Network has proved to be an essential step in the promotion of microfinance in the European Union, assisting the fight against social and financial exclusion. Polish EMN Members are: Microfinance Centre and The Polish Union of Loan Funds.
