IBEROSTAR is set to open its first Grand Collection hotel in Mallorca in May 2016. The new IBEROSTAR Gran Hotel Portals Nous, located in Portals Nous cove, in the area of Calviá, will be the first Grand Collection hotel (IBEROSTAR’s premium hotel category) on the island. Planned for May 2016, the five star hotel will boast 63 rooms, luxury services and facilities as well as keeping a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. The building design is the work of leading Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, who is internationally renowned for his architecture and interior design projects.
Iberostar is also planning 2 additional new hotels for 2016, the IBEROSTAR Santa Eulalia in Ibiza and the IBEROSTAR Costa del Sol in Estepona, Malaga.
