Air France tests Wi-Fi on short and medium-haul flightsSince 12 January, Air France has been offering a special internet connection offer with Wi-Fi entertainment content on a test basis for three months, in partnership with Orange.

 

This test has been launched on two medium-haul and short-haul A320s. For the duration of the flight (from the time of boarding up to the time they leave the aircraft*), customers can connect to high-speed Internet, access their mails or watch live television (France 2, France 24, Eurosport, BBC World News and Bloomberg). They also have access to a selection of games, movies and TV series. The pass can be purchased 20 hours before the flight, or on board.

* except at airports / in countries where national legislation does not authorize this (Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Zurich (Switzerland), Tunisia and Ukraine)
