Following the success of the Winter Social Festival, the first ever music festival to take place at Kent Event Centre in February 2016, the venue has won the contract to host a second in the Social Festival series.
The summer edition of the Social Festival, organised by Social Events, will take place between 9th and 10th September 2016 and once again see the venue’s Maidstone Exhibition Hall transformed into a boutique music festival showcasing the world’s greatest dance music acts bringing a taste of Ibiza to Kent. The event is expected to attract over 10,000 people across the weekend and DJ’s will include Carl Cox, Andrew Weatherall, Bicep, Guy Gerber, Hot Since 82, Joseph Capriati, Larent Garnier, Nic Fanciulli, Paranoid London and Sasha & John Digweed and many more.
Kent Event Centre’s Event Centre Manager, Alison Wallington, says: “The Winter Social Festival was a real success for Kent Event Centre and it was great to see our new facilities transformed for a completely different use. We are really excited to be working with Social Events on the summer version of the event and we hope the relationship will thrive and see us host many more Social Festivals at the Kent Event Centre.”
