ibtm world Announces Top Ten Technology and Innovation Finalists

ibtmworld2016logoThe 2016 ibtm world Technology and Innovation Watch Award with EventMB recognises innovators and talented entrepreneurs that could revolutionise the meetings and events sector. This year the award attracted the highest number of entries to date resulting in 10 shortlisted entries that will form part of the Innovation Zone, a feature area on the ibtm world show floor. 

The top 10 finalists are Aloompa, EventCollab, EventGeek, Fly Another Day, Grip, Groupize, GruupMeet, Meeting Evolution, Shoflo and Visionteractive.

Corbin Ball Chair of the judging panel commented on this year’s entries; “The 60 entries in this year’s awards represent a wide range of novel and useful applications. The ten finalists in particular have a very interesting diversity of ways to improve the business process of events and highlight new tech trends in event management, social media, attendee engagement, artificial intelligence, sourcing and destination management.”

The final Tech Watch winner will be announced on Wednesday 30 November at 2.30pm at the Technology and Innovation Zone.
