At IMEX America, which took place October 18th to 21st 2016 in Las Vegas, the Vienna Convention Bureau at the Vienna Tourist Board has been awarded the Prevue Gold Visionary Award 2016 in the category for “Best Planner Support from CVB – International”.

Laurel Herman, President and Editorial Director of Prevue, the leading U.S. magazine that provides meeting and incentive planners with insightful group experiential and destination coverage, explains, “Our readership as well as Advisory Board for our Visionary Awards voted for the Vienna Convention Bureau to be the Best Planner Support in the international market. Our Visionary Winner Award recognizes outstanding client orientation and service provision by a convention bureau. Clientele service orientation and ongoing help are key for running successful events outside of the United States, especially for our U.S.-based clientele.”

Christian Mutschlechner, Director of the Vienna Convention Bureau at the Vienna Tourist Board adds, “We work on a daily basis with a 100% client orientation — in our business, personal contacts are key for a successful partnership between clients, our bureau, and our city Vienna. It is with great pride to accept the Prevue Gold Visionary Award, which recognizes the dedication and customer orientation of each of our staff members in the Vienna Convention Bureau”.
