Under the central theme “The Global Systemic Transformation”, the 21st edition of the GLOBSEC Forum will address the defining question of our time: Will Europe shape the emerging global order or be shaped by it? The annual flagship conference will take place on 21 – 23 May 2026 at Hilton Atrium Prague hotel, under the auspices of Czech President Petr Pavel with over 1,800 participants from almost 80 countries.
The three-day will focus on critical challenges including European defence industrial capacity, Ukraine’s path forward, closing Europe’s technology innovation gap, navigating the birth of a new global order, and driving Europe’s competitive future.
“This isn’t a shift—it’s a systemic break from the old playbook,” said Róbert Vass, President and Founder of GLOBSEC. “Europe must redefine its role on the global stage and deepen strategic partnerships across the Indo-Pacific, the Middle East, and beyond. The GLOBSEC Forum in Prague will serve as the platform where commitments transform into actionable solutions.”
Running parallel to the main Forum, the third edition of the Prague GeoTech Summit will explore how fast-moving technologies and new geopolitical pressures are forcing governments and companies to rethink investments, innovation, and risk management in an increasingly uncertain era. Selected Forum sessions will be integrated into the Summit, complemented by exclusive side events and high-level closed-door formats.
“For over two decades, the GLOBSEC Forum has served as one of Europe’s premier platforms for hard conversations about security and stability,” said Daniel Braun, CEO of GLOBSEC. “Taking place in the heart of Europe, this year’s gathering in Prague comes at a moment when the stakes have never been higher. We’re bringing together world leaders and thinkers, innovators, defence chiefs, and industry pioneers to forge the solutions that will determine Europe’s place in the emerging world order.”
Throughout its history, GLOBSEC’s guests have included Presidents Emmanuel Macron, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Minister of Foreign Affair of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Microsoft’s President Brad Smith, and numerous heads of state and global thought leaders.
