ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter announces programme for second annual debate in Leeds

Queen’s Hotel, Leeds, will host this year’s debateICCA UK and Ireland Chapter today announces that its second Annual Debate will focus on ‘Increasing Sales Through Risk’. The two-day event will take place February 11-12th 2016 at the Queen’s Hotel in Leeds and includes an evening reception and dinner.

The packed education programme includes sessions from motivational speaker David Pearl, who will give a unique insight into how music and the arts can motivate, enhance creativity and inspire individuals and organisations to do better business. Chris Trimmer from World Obesity will share his ‘Healthy Venues, Healthy Meetings – Taking responsibility in the meetings industry for looking after our delegates’ initiative, looking at keeping delegates healthy and helping to change the shape of the ‘delegate diet’ and Ivo Franschitz from ENITED Business Events will focus on how to stop the risk of becoming irrelevant.

There will also be a technology session with a panel of specialists discussing the latest technology developments and how clients are using technology for their events. Jane Cunningham from Best Cities Alliance will look at the value of team working to win business across continents and Vienna Convention Bureau’s Christian Mutschlechner will look at the risk of losing bids against your competition, discussing how the bureau works with its competition to bid as a team to win multi-year deals.
