ITB 2010: German Travel Trends

The Germans took 301 milliontrips in 2009 (domestic andoutbound combined),amounting to a total of 1.5billion overnights.Compared to the year before,total travel volume fell by – 1%,overnight accommodationvolume fell by – 3%, and travelexpenditures by – 5%.

for 3.5 billion overnights, a -12% decline from the previous year.
