Jet2holidaysJet2.com and Jet2holidays, the leading leisure airline and the UK’s largest tour operator, have unveiled plans for a significant expansion to their Summer 24 programme. The companies have announced the addition of more flights and holidays to 17 sunshine destinations across ten UK bases for Spring and Easter, extending the summer season to three new destinations: Tivat, Girona, and Izmir.

Meeting Customer Demand for Early Summer Sun

With a surge in customer demand for early summer sun, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are responding by adding an extra 75,000 seats to popular destinations. The expanded capacity includes flights to Turkey (Antalya, Izmir, and Bodrum), Croatia (Dubrovnik), Mainland Spain (Girona, Alicante, and Reus), the Balearics (Ibiza, Majorca, and Menorca), Montenegro (Tivat), Portugal (Faro), Cyprus (Larnaca), Italy (Naples), Greece (Rhodes), and the Canaries (Tenerife and Gran Canaria) for the Summer 24 season.

The new flights have been strategically scheduled for March, April, and May 2024, perfectly aligning with the Easter holidays and Spring, when more holidaymakers are looking to book or travel earlier in the summer season.

Jet2holidays – Expanded Capacity from Ten UK Bases

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added the extra capacity from ten UK bases, namely Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle International, and London Stansted Airports. This expansion reflects the strong demand for flights and ATOL protected package holidays.

To cater to the increasing demand and provide customers with more opportunities to book early summer getaways, the Summer 24 season start has been brought forward for three destinations: Tivat, Girona, and Izmir. Flights will commence operating from the end of March to Girona and Izmir, and from the beginning of April to Tivat for the first time.

Enhanced Travel Options for Spring and Easter Holidays

In addition to the expanded capacity, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have addressed the growing trend for Spring and Easter holidays by adding extra flights to popular destinations. In April and May, customers and independent travel agents will have even more choice and flexibility for destinations such as Dubrovnik, Ibiza, Reus, and Rhodes, allowing them to enjoy an early slice of summer sun.
